How It All Started
"A Dream is a Wish your Heart Makes"
This quote has been the driving force in this new chapter of my life. I have always strived for the perfectly imperfect look on life and, as a child, could create stories from nowhere to entertain my mom and dad. My sister and I spent hours recreating Disney movie scenes (sometimes against her own will, LOVE YOU SISTER), I had the vision, and that girl is a wiz at remembering specific lines, which was so fun. I would create dance moves, outfits, and the whole nine. We grew up in a small flyover town in South Dakota, so this and watching the Disney Specials on TV was the closest we were going to get to a magical dream trip to Disney. We are blessed to have this creativity and imagination to bring experiences to our lives through our vision.
Fast-forward to adulthood and now having our own children and living in a less landlocked location, we were able to bring the dream to reality of a Trip To Disney. We prepped, planned, and surprised our families during a Christmas reveal (during COVID, mind you). Then months later, we were off to the Most Magical Place on Earth with honestly half of the experiences available due to restrictions. We didn't care. This trip was a lifelong DREAM come true.
Back to the perfectly imperfect quote from the opening - Outfits are a true passion of mine (call it vain, obsessive, etc.), and I love coordinating the perfect look that is comfortable, convenient, and, most of all, CUTE. I spent HOURS searching the web, Etsy, Amazon, JCrew Factory, Old Navy, etc., creating looks that weren't typical "We are all going to Disney Matching Shirts." They are all based on a theme and then tailored to each person in the group with matching patterns and accessories that work, and that person feels comfortable wearing || side note for women's wear: must-have pockets. Seriously, this should be a law - I want all skirts and dresses to have pockets.
Let's wrap this up with what I will provide to my customers and clients and how this all came to fruition. Last year was a BIG birthday for me, and I (like all moms) rarely put myself ahead of anyone. But this was a once-in-lifetime revelation that I would plan an experience for myself and my family and booked a cruise upon the Disney Wish for Halloween on the High Seas. YAY ME! And I wanted the BEST cruise door decor: I searched high and low for what I wanted it to look like, and by golly, there isn't much out there, so I sat down and created the It's A Small World Pastel Halloween theme pack with a feature magnet, decorative and name magnets, buntings, Mickey ghost tassels and the whole thing. Humble-Brag: we had so many compliments and notes on our door about this unique vision I brought to life - a few months later, I launched my business and am working from home, creating these cohesive, cute, and creative pieces to bring magic and planning ease to your travels. I sure hope you LOVE every piece you see, and your support means the world to my family and me.
